Kathmandu, 18 September: Pakistan-Nepal Friendship Trade Fair has kicked off on the 4th floor DECC of the United World Trade Center in Tripureshwor from yesterday.
Inaugurating the fair, Saeed Haider Shah, Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal, said that such fairs play a positive role in increasing the engagement in economic and commercial activities of mutual interest to further strengthen the friendly relations between Pakistan and Nepal and Pakistan.
Ambassador Shah said that the exhibitions and fairs are great examples of trade relations between Pakistan and Nepal. He said that the consumers of both countries will be benefited when the original products of both countries are displayed and sold on the same platform.
Saying that the relationship between Pakistan and Nepal was bound by cultural and social as well as commercial bonds, Ambassador Shah said that such fairs also provide an opportunity to get acquainted with the lifestyle and cultural aspects of both countries.
