Govt. directs to prevent suspended CJ from entering the Supreme Court

Kathmandu, 18 September: The government has instructed the Nepal Police to prevent the suspended Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana from entering the Supreme Court. A source at the  Home Ministry said that the government  this morning instructed the police headquarters not to allow Rana  enter the Supreme Court.

Following the instructions from the government security personnel have been heavily deployed at the Supreme Court since morning to prevent him from entering. The police head office has also instructed the security officers assigned to Rana’s security to make  security arrangements accordingly.
